Shadow 2 for everyday shooters?

I know the Shadow 2 is a competition beast but how practical is it for regular range use?

Yeah, it’s overbuilt in a good way..more fun than practical but that’s kind of the point.

 It's definitely on the heavy side for carrying around all day but for range sessions, nothing beats it. If you're out shooting every week, you barely notice the weight after a while, and that trigger is just heavenly

It's a bit heavy to carry all day but for the range? You just can't beat it. After shooting one every week, you barely even notice the weight anymore. But that trigger just makes every other gun feel... well, not as good.

Using a Shadow 2 for just regular range days is absolutely overkill but in the best possible sense. It's heavy, shoots incredibly flat and it's far more accurate than most folks will ever truly need. It is practical sure but is it necessary? Probably not so much.
